For many years Margo Naismith acted as the Dance Director for the San Diego Highland Games until her unfortunate passing in 2013. In memoriam the San Diego Highland Games donated a trophy in her name to be used at the highland dance competition. The trophy is awarded on a yearly basis in June when the San Diego Highland Games occur.
