Margo Naismith Memorial Award

The Margo Naismith Memorial Award is a cash prize given to the top three competitors in a dance off at the Margo Naismith Memorial Highland Dance Competition in Southern California. 1st prize is $400, 2nd prize is $300, and 3rd prize is $200. A perpetual award is also given to the 1st prize winner and is kept on an annual basis by the winner. Margo Naismith was a champion dancer, teacher, and organizer in San Diego, California.
