Peter Kapp was born in 1940 in California and educated at the University of California, Berkeley, where he studied ethane musicology. His piping knowledge derives from Donald Shaw Ramsey and James McColl. He has collected indigenous music in Latin America and the South Pacific. Peter pursues music and travel as hobbies and resides in Mendocino, California. Peter’s tune, Quick on the Uptake, appears in the Vortex Street Music Collection.
